Warranty
This Warranty document outlines the coverage provided by SILVER (“the Company”) to the original purchaser of SILVER branded appliances (“Product” or “Products”). This Warranty applies to products purchased from authorized SILVER retailers or directly from SILVER within Portugal.
Warranty Period
The Warranty for SILVER appliances covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months (2 years) from the original date of purchase. The Warranty period for replacement parts or products provided under this Warranty will be the remainder of the Warranty period originally applicable to the Product being replaced or repaired.
Coverage
Under this Warranty, the Company will, at its option, repair or replace any Product that proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal installation, use, and service, provided the Product is returned to the Company or its authorized service center. The Company may use new or refurbished parts or products to repair or replace the defective Product.
This Warranty covers the following components:
• Motors
• Electronic control boards
• Compressors (for refrigerators and freezers)
• Internal wiring
• Exclusions
This Warranty does not cover:
• Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, alterations, tampering, or improper installation or maintenance.
• outine wear and tear, including but not limited to, filters, belts, bulbs, and seals.
• Damage or defects caused by external causes such as fire, flood, natural disasters, or voltage fluctuations.
• Products with serial numbers that have been altered, defaced, or removed.
• Transportation or shipping damage.
• Costs associated with the transportation of the Product to and from the service center.
• Installation or setup of the Product.
• Products used in commercial, industrial, or non-residential settings.
How to Obtain Service
To obtain Warranty service, the original purchaser must:
• Contact SILVER Customer Service at +351 218 680 124 or email geral@interplay.pt to report the defect and to receive troubleshooting assistance or service instructions.
• Provide proof of the original date of purchase, such as a purchase receipt.
• Follow all shipping and packaging instructions if the Product must be returned for repair.
Limitation of Liability
SILVER’s responsibility under this Warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the Product as provided herein. SILVER shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Product or arising from any breach of this Warranty.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
Governing Law
This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.
